The Hui 'O Na Wahine gives out welfare grants to non-profit organizations both on and off post that directly affect and support our military Ohana. Interested in applying for a grant? Please read the following and then click to download our application.
Applications must be filled out completely and submitted no later than 28 February 2018.
Your POC will receive an email confirmation from the Hui O' Na Wahine Welfare Chair when an application is received. If the request is approved, your POC will be contacted by the Welfare Chair sometime in late March.
All checks must be cashed within 90 days from the date of the check disbursement.
Original receipts must be submitted to the Welfare Chair no later than 30 days after funds are expended. Failure to submit receipts may disqualify your organization from receiving future grants from the Hui O' Na Wahine.
Grants are NOT made to individuals.
Grants are NOT made to politically affiliated groups.
Grants are NOT made for medical research organizations.
Grants ARE made to schools only where programs are not provided by regular school budgets.
