The Hui 'O Na Wahine is proud to give back to the community. The funds generated by the Hui 'O Na Wahine Thrift Shop and various fundraising activities that the club organizes are dedicated to improving the lives of Soldiers and families in and around Schofield Barracks. Applications are currently closed but check back in February of 2024!
Our Purpose:
The Hui 'O Na Wahine supports our local community by providing financial assistance by way of Grants to non-profit organizations that support military community and directly benefit Military Service Members and their families.
Eligibility:
Community Grant Applications must be completed and submitted in accordance with the guidance provided in the application, including a Publicity Release Form.
COMMUNITY GRANT RECIPIENT REQUIREMENTS:
* Failure on the part of the organization to use funds appropriately or to turn in receipts may cause it to be banned from further consideration of future grants.
All requests for funds must be received by a date to be determined. Recipients will be notified and funds will be disbursed shortly thereafter. Questions may be directed to huiwelfarechair@gmail.com.

- Must be a nonprofit organization
- Must be used for requested purpose. Grants cannot be used for:
- Individuals, politically affiliated groups, or medical research organizations.
- Requests for projects or events that have already taken place.
- Grants can be made to schools only where programs are not provided by regular school budgets.
- Grant recipients must cash checks within NINETY DAYS from the date of check disbursement.
- Grant recipients must submit receipts NO LATER THAN THIRTY DAYS after funds are expended.
