Our Purpose:

​The Hui 'O Na Wahine Scholarship Committee facilitates and awards scholarships for eligible applicants of Schofield Barracks and its surrounding military communities.

We offer scholarships to:
  • spouses of active duty, reserve, retired active duty, deceased military personnel who are assigned to or reside on Oahu, Hawaii
  • ​dependent children of active duty, reserve, retired active duty, deceased military personnel who are assigned to or reside on Oahu, Hawaii
  • spouses or dependent children of DOD civilians who are assigned to or reside on Oahu, Hawaii

Eligibility:
  • Must be a graduating senior of an accredited high school or home school program or adult continuing education student who will be attending or are currently attending accredited colleges or business/trade/non-traditional schools during the fall of the 2024-2025 academic year..
  • Must possess a valid US military identification card and be enrolled in DEERS.
  • Must not be the recipient of a full-tuition scholarship (to include tuition, room and board) or an appointment to a military service academy.
  • ALL PORTIONS of the application, including reference letters, must be emailed to the Hui 'O Na Wahine Scholarship Chair at: [email protected]
